Detroit Built Pop Up Shoppe Hits Soho this Month

We are beyond thrilled to learn about the Detroit Built Pop Up Shoppe, organized by Michele Varian, owner of Michele Varian Shop in Soho, NY; DG3 friend Sarah Lapinski, owner of Motor City Sewing and Design and Wound Menswear, who also participated in our Samurai: Beyond the Armor fashion design competition; and Paulina Petkoski, another good friend of DG3, who is the founder of PlaygroundDetroit.com.

Detroit Built is an effort to further promote the amazing talents that are helping to revitalize Detroit, featuring products designed and manufactured in Detroit, shown over the course of a month at the Michele Varian Shop in New York.

Featured designers include: Alex Drew & No One*, Allison Vince, kem3D, Adora Bella Ceramics, Beard Balm, Ben Saginaw, Christine Bossler, Black Catalogue, Ciseal*, Cristin Richard, Cyberoptix, Dark Red, Detroit Denim, Detroit Rose, Local Portion by Elysia Vandenbussche, Homes Eyewear, Hunt and Noyer, Laavu, Lead Head Glass*, Mirth, Quetarshe Textiles By Sheila M. Palmer, Salt and Cedar, Scott Hocking, Shinola, Smith Shop*,Tree-Purposed, Urban Solstice Designs, Well Done Goods, Wethouse, Wound Menswear.

The Pop Up Shoppe runs September 20 - October 20, 2014, Monday-Friday 11 a.m.-7 p.m,,  Saturday-Sunday 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
