Official Stroh's Beer Tapping | Wednesday, August 31
The popular beer company Stroh's is making its triumphant return to Michigan this weekend. Restaurants and stores across the state will be selling a new beer by the company. To celebrate, come out to Ale Mary's Beer Hall to try this new beer on tap.

Ale Mary's Beer Hall is located at 316 S. Main St., in Royal Oak.

Arts, Beats & Eats | Friday, September 2 through Monday, September 5
The 19th annual Arts, Beats & Eats will be back in Downtown Royal Oak this Labor Day weekend. Come out to hear awesome bands and artists, see and buy amazing artwork and goods, and eat delicious local food and drinks. Hours from Friday through Sunday are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Monday they are 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. There is something for everyone and of all ages at this fun-filled event. Detroit Jazz Festival | Friday, September 2 through Monday, September 5
Want to spend your whole Labor Day weekend going to different festivals and fairs? Don't forget about the Detroit Jazz Festival in Hart Plaza! This is the world's largest free jazz festival, so it's something you certainly don't want to miss out on. There is a wide range of artists from established to up-and-coming musicians. 35th Annual Labor Day Craft Faire | Saturday, September 3 through Monday, September 5
Join Blake's Orchard in a fun fall celebration. Learn more about the farms, while seeing all of the attractions that are sure to be fun for everyone. There will be artist and local vendors, apple picking, a winery, workshops, a country style meal and much, much more. This is a free event that goes from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day.

MotorCity Wine Presents Ron Trent | Sunday, September 4
MotorCity Wine is proud to welcome one of the originals of house music, Ron Trent. Since the '90s Trent has been at the forefront of Chicago Underground and continues to release hit after hit. DDEAF Magazine Launch Party | Thursday, September 3
You won’t want to miss the launch party of the Detroit Design Entertainment Art & Fashion Magazine. Featuring everything design, entertainment, art, and fashion related in Detroit, this print magazine celebrates the city we all know and love, as well as all of the rich culture held within. With the launch party held at Our/Detroit Vodka while featuring 2 Unique Caterers & Event Planners, it is sure to be a highlight of the summer! Come enjoy some Michigan Cherry Basil Spritzers, tapas, and more while immersing yourself in this excellent quarterly publication.

Arts, Beats & Eats 2015 | Friday, September 4 through Monday, September 7
The 18th Annual Arts, Beats, & Eats is finally here. With nine stages peppered throughout downtown Royal Oak, 200 performances, Juried Fine Arts Show, and local restaurants featuring some of the best cuisine in metro Detroit, this weekend is one for the books. For a complete lineup of the events, please look to the website. For now, we will highlight some of the events going on. Concerts start Friday night at 5:30 featuring Beatlemania Live, followed by Cheap Trick and Puddle of Mud. The music continues all weekend with performances by Big Pappa & The Machine, James Otto, Carly Bins, Acoustic Madness, and many more. While enjoying the music, walk around and take in the talented work of many local designers such as Steve Anderson, Jason Brueck, Lynn Cebula, and more. A family friendly event that is perfect for a fun day in the last of the summer sun, date night, or just to enjoy the city of Royal Oak - you won’t want to miss it.

Free Co-working Day | Friday, September 4
Set yourself up for a stress-free weekend by attending the free co-working day from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Bamboo Detroit. Once a month Bamboo Detroit opens its doors to the public offering its creative workspace for free. Settle in to work on homework, projects, work, or just some quiet time while you enjoy breakfast, coffee, and most importantly, fast WiFi. RSVP and register on the website to lock in your spot to attend this event. Sometimes, a change of scenery from your personal office to an innovative and lively workspace may be just what you need to check some things off your to-do list.

Bike-in Movie Might - Norma Rae | Sunday, September 6
There’s no better way to end a weekend as well as kick off the start of a great week than grabbing some blankets and coming out to Woodbridge Bikes & Coffee to watch Sally Fields star in Norma Rae. Sit under the stars with popcorn and watch as a young, single mother and textile worker agrees to do anything she can to help unionize her mill. The movie starts right at 9:30, so make sure to be there on time!
