Wednesday, May 20
Support
the Judson Center as they co-host a fundraising event with Saks Fifth Avenue to
continue to help children with disabilities. From 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., 10% of all purchases
will go to the Judson Center’s Lahser Children’s Respite Home. Once you have
conquered your day of shopping, learn more about the Judson Center from 5:30 to
6:30 p.m., where shoppers can meet Judson Center representatives while enjoying
light refreshments.
Crash Discourse
Featuring Kevin Saunderson | Wednesday, May 20
The
Detroit Public Library in collaboration with WDET and Auxetic present the first
of a three series event, Crash Discourse. WDET’s Chris Campbell, featuring
guest speaker Kevin Saunderson, hosts this part-one-of-three beginning at 6
p.m. at the Detroit Public Library. Enjoy this intimate session as one of the
pioneers of the Detroit Techno music scene is interviewed on personal, musical,
production levels. DJ Larry “Vibemaker” Miller will be on hand to play the
guest’s music to keep the mood fun and light, and Kevin will be able to sign
and sell merchandise throughout the event. Crash Discourse is free and open to

series has to offer. It all happens from4 to 7 p.m. at the Rochester Lions
Park.

Red Bull House of Art
Alumni Exhibition | Thursday, May 21
Come
out to Red Bulls House of Art as they celebrate 10 of amazing Red Bull House of
Art exhibitions, and the artists who were at the center of it all. Abby Tage
Lee, Bethany Shorb, Chad Davis, Elmer, Lamar Landers, Steven McShane, and Tiff
Massey are just a few of the many artists who will be featured at the event.
Michael Geiger and Brian Gillespie will set the musical tone for the evening
starting at 7 and ending at 11 p.m.

Shepard Fairely-Printed

Library Street Collective as they present “Public Matter” featuring the works
of Shepard Fairey from 6 to 10 p.m. located in the Belt (behind the gallery).
The exhibition showcase a permanent mural in the Belt, as well as his largest
mural to date on One Campus Martius. The event is free and open to the public.
