Bike and Brew Tours - 2017 Season | Saturday, April 29
Bike and Brew Tours are back for their summer 2017 season! From 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., you'll learn about Detroit history with a bike tour as you indulge in beer and food. This is for all biking abilities -- so need to worry at all. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased here. NTVTY An Upscale Mixer | Saturday, April 29
In celebration of the grand opening of the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington D.C., there will be an amazing night at the Charles H. Wright Museum! From 7 to 11 p.m., enjoy good food, music and conversation, while also celebrating 50 years since the Black Madonna chancel mural was unveiled in Detroit. The Art of Jazz - A Celebration of International Jazz Day | Sunday, April 30
The Dell Pryor Gallery is hosting a multimedia event from 6 to 9 p.m. in celebration of International Jazz Day. This event will be a combination of performance and visual arts, which includes Marcus Elliot on sax, Michael Malis on piano, Jaribu Shahid on bass and Kayvon Gordon on drums. There is a suggested donation of $15.
