Digital Marketing Boot Camp | Wednesday, February 15
Join industry experts for the Detroit Regional Chamber's digital marketing boot camp at the Taubman Center to help you improve your digital marketing footprint. There will be various speakers from well-known companies who will be talking about various digital marketing topics including the latest innovations in social media, how to make your online presence more personable and tips to improve your digital marketing strategy. College Night at the DIA | Friday, February 17
Tri-county college students are invited to visit the Detroit Institute of Arts for a free evening of music, games, dancing and more. Activities include free admission to the Bittersweet: Coffee, Tea & Chocolate exhibition, live music in the Rivera Court at 7 and 8:30 p.m., a scavenger hunt with prizes, a dance party, snacks and a cash bar for those 21+.

Bella Gemelli Spring Break Pop-Up Shop | Saturday, February 18
Bella Gemelli, an online-based clothing brand and boutique, will be hosting a pop-up event to kick off spring 2017 at the Lodges of East Lansing Clubhouse from 1 to 6 p.m. There will be stylish and adorable swimwear, sunglasses, clothing and more. Brewery Walking Tour - Royal Oak | Saturday, February 18
Motor City Brew Tours presents a walking tour of some of Royal Oak's best breweries! The tour will start at Royal Oak Brewery and include River Rouge Brewing Company, Bastone Brewery and Lily's Seafood Grill & Brewery. Tickets are $42.50 and available here or at the event. This tour is 21+ and will start 11:30 a.m.

Whiskey Business 2017 | Saturday, February 18
Come out to the Royal Oak Farmers Market to taste over 100 whiskeys from around the world. There will also be live music provided by SpaceCat cover band. Whiskey Business gives you the opportunity to savor and discover the best in scotches, bourbons and whiskeys. There will also be brand ambassadors there, who can offer their unique descriptions and insights on the many products available. There are GA and VIP tickets available here, and this event goes from 8 to 11 p.m.

Designing with Art | Thursday, June 16
Tour a pop-up art gallery and learn more about the importance of designing with art with the West Elm design team. You'll learn how to pick the right furniture for a particular scenario, and learn that it isn't just about matching artwork to a sofa, it's a collaboration. Your house decor will look amazing, as if it belongs in a magazine. The event goes from 5 to 8 p.m.

Grand Circus Gala | Thursday, June 16
The second annual Grand Circus Gala, which benefits the historic Grand Circus Park, will be taking place at 6 p.m. at the Grand Circus Park. There will be live music, featuring Nicole New and DJ Tom T, cocktails, hors d'oeurves and classic lawn games. Following the gala, there will be an after-party at the WXYZ Bar in the Aloft Detroit at the David Whitney Building. Tickets can be purchased here.

KIDSgala 3rd Annual White Party | Friday, June 17

For the first time come check out Michigan artisans and local businesses at the Salvation Army Church parking lot. With over 50 vendors, you are likely to find something unique for yourself or that last minute Father's Day gift. Admission is completely free, but this event is a fundraiser for The Salvation Army Women's Ministries. You will be sure to enjoy the day.

2015 Whitney Garden Parties | Thursday, May 28
The famous Whitney Restaurant will be hosting their 25-year tradition of Garden Parties starting this Thursday, lasting every Thursday until August 27. From 5 to 9 p.m., the Garden Parties will showcase some of the best bands, while sipping craft beer specials and snacking on delicious food. This Thursday’s season kick-off will feature Blaire Alise & The Bombshells, a pop/rock style band. Cover is $5, attendees must be at least 21 years of age to enter.

Joy Abendmode: Grand Opening | Friday, May 29
Joy Abendmode, an eveningwear shop, has set up shop in Royal Oak, and they are celebrating with a grand opening event from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. This is a full day of activities starting in the morning with 15% off the first 25 purchases of the day. The ribbon cutting ceremony is happening at 12 p.m., a store tour will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. and the fashion show will begin at 6 p.m.

Startup Weekend Detroit for Social Entrepreneurs Edition | Friday, May 29 to Sunday, May 31

The Mercado building is hosting a weekend for entrepreneurs to pitch an idea, form a team and launch a product. WCCC Presents: Detroit Girls Can | Saturday, May 30
Wayne County Community College is hosting an empowerment event for young women between the ages of 14 and 18 years old. From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., young ladies will learn to empower themselves by learning tools to manage money, getting on the right career pathway and to develop the power that comes from real confidence. Ferndale Pride 2015 | Saturday, May 30
Ferndale Pride attracts 10,00 to 15,000 per year, and it’s kicking off the summer season a bit early come 1 to 10 p.m. all around the streets of downtown Ferndale. The day will start with the 5k Rainbow Run and the 2k Fun Run at 8:30 a.m., and then attendees can head over to the main stage on the west side of downtown Ferndale for a party in the streets with dancing, shopping and so much more. Opening Reception Windows on Frida | Saturday, May 30
Café Con Leche is excited to display local art from the community for “Windows on Frida,” a visual artistic interpretation of Frida Kahlo’s artwork and life. This art installation will feature fashion, jewelry, paintings and ceramics in honor of the DIA’s special series on Friday Kahlo and Diego Rivera. From 5 to 9 p.m., come out for a special Opening Night Reception to celebrate Frida Kahlo, but also the artists who were inspired by her.

WALK Fashion Show | Saturday, May 30
WALK Fashion Show is putting on its 11th edition fashion show, with the first show starting at 3 p.m. and the next starting at 8 p.m. at Garden Theatre.
