13th Annual Holiday Shopping Extravaganza | Wednesday, November 5
The Chaldean American Ladies of Charity (CALC) are hosting the 13th Annual Holiday Shopping Extravaganza from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Shenandoah Country Club. Get into the holiday spirit and shop the set ups from over 80 vendors. Tickets are $20.

Grand Finale Style Showcase Mixer Presented by Hour| Thursday, November 6
Enjoy an evening of style, sips and savory delights and experience Emerald City Designs in motion from 5 to 7 p.m. The latest event décor trends for 2015 will be on display, and complimentary signature cocktails provided by Zim’s Vodka and appetizers by 2unique Catering will be available all evening while GO PRO DJS provide the music and entertainment while you mix and mingle.

Art for the Holidays: First Grabs Friday | Friday, November 7
Detroit Artists Market will transform from a fine art exhibition space to a fun and energetic gift market that will feature more than 180 different artists. From 5 to 9 p.m., browse artists’ collections of paintings, jewelry, metal, photography, books, ceramics and so much more. Listen to obscure holiday music spun by DJ Dabnose and enjoy hors d’oeuvres by Angelina Italian Bistro.

Fabulous Friday: Finds & Funon Wheels! | Friday, November 7
Oakland Mediation Center and Leon & Lulu have teamed up to raise funds to end bullying and youth violence at Fabulous Friday: Finds & Funon Wheels! From 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., hors d’oeuvres, beer and wine will be served while shopping the eclectic mix of upscale furniture, unique gifts and fun accessories. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Oakland Mediation Center’s implementation of the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program in Oakland County Schools.

Whiskey Business | Friday, November 7
Whether you like it neat, dirty, on the rocks, straight or mixed, the best way to enjoy whiskey is to really savor it, and what better place to do that than Whiskey Business? Sample different whiskeys, scotches and bourbons from different continents, while meeting brand ambassadors who will offer unique descriptions and insight on many different products. MOD Late Night Gala Celebration | Saturday, November 8
Ladies, pull out your most colorful cocktail dresses and fellas, suit up for the MOD Late Night Gala Celebration at the Detroit Institute of Arts beginning at 9 p.m. Enjoy libations and desserts while dancing the evening away to celebrate the DIA’s permanent collection. Valet parking is at the John R entrance of the museum.
