FashionSpeak 2016: Introducing the Keynote Speaker

FashionSpeak might not be until October, but we are so excited to be able to announce JEFFRY ARONSSON as our keynote speaker!

Jeffry is a Detroit native and the CEO and founder of Aronsson Group, and has extensive experience in premium markets worldwide. He has been the CEO of Oscar de la Renta, Marc Jacobs, Donna Karan, Emanuel Ungaro (interim CEO) and Ralph Rucci (interim CEO).

Frequently referenced in high-end industry publications, Jeffry is a globally recognized leader. He has demonstrated special expertise and experience in the luxury apparel goods industry, including, but not limited to, licensing operations, and brand development and repositioning.

His passion for conceiving and negotiating licensing and distribution agreements began after getting his J.D. at Wayne State University Law School in Detroit and his LL.M in taxation from New York University. Combining his knowledge in law and business, he has initiated or drove over 50 strategic licensing agreements, covering more than 26 countries and generating more than $2.5 billion in retail sales.

Jeffry's experience also includes the successful formulation and execution of joint ventures, acquisitions, new product launches, and the recruitment and retention of creatives, operating executives and effective business partners. While at Oscar de la Renta, he led a turnaround that reversed the company's debt into profit and tripled its sales. He was responsible for the creation of a successful Oscar de la Renta home furnishings collection. Similarly, he helped Marc Jacobs and Donna Karan grow substantially across the world.

In addition to various board and advisory positions, Jeffry is an industry advisor to the Council of Fashion Designers Incubator Program in New York.

We look forward to hearing him speak with his vast knowledge and area of expertise, and you should too. To purchase tickets for FashionSpeak, head over to www.fashionspeak2016.eventbrite.com. You won't want to miss this!
