This weekend is full of fun and fashionable things to do, so if you're itching to hit the town, these events will keep you busy.



Katie Dean Pop Up | Thursday, December 1
from 5 to 8 pm., head over to 4th Street Boutique to meet Los Angeles jewelry designer Katie Dean, who is bringing her designs to the shop. From the Kardashians to Kristin Chenoweth, Katie Dean is a favorite among celebrities. Meet with the designer herself and enjoy light refreshments as you shop the collection.

Shop Detroit Bazaar | Friday, December 2
From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Detroit is the New Black will turn into a holiday shopping pop-up you won't want to miss.  Support emerging entrepreneurs from the Build program and Detroit's entrepreneurship community while getting a little holiday shopping done. Fresh baked goods, handmade ware and arsenal candles will be available for a one-of-a-kind shopping and vending experience.

Detroit is the New Black is located at 1426 Woodward Ave., in Detroit.


Birmingham Winter Market | Friday, December 2 to Sunday, December 4
Birmingham will turn into a winter wonderland this weekend at the 7th Annual Birmingham Winter Market. Attendees will enjoy holiday shopping, warm food and drinks, crafts, ice carving, live reindeer and warming stations. Bring the whole family to downtown Birmingham and celebrate the season.

Shain Park is located at 200 E. Merrill St., in Birmingham.


Noel Night | Saturday, December 3
Noel Night is celebrating its 44th year from 5 to 10 p.m. in Detroit's Midtown District. Over 100 local businesses including the DIA, Charles H. Wright Museum, the Detroit Historical Museum and the Detroit Public Library will open their doors to the public free of charge. Horse-drawn carriage rides, holiday shopping, family crafts and performances will be happening all evening. The community sing-along on Woodward Avenue, led by The Salvation Army Eastern Michigan Division Band, will conclude the evening's activities.

All festivities will be taking place in Midtown Detroit.
