25th Annual Halloween Trail | Thursday, October 27
Kids 12 and under are invited to trick-or-treat from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Auburn Hills Civic Center Park. You can visit the talking pumpkin and enjoy a special magic show. The best part is that it's free for all kids dressed in costume!

Philip Beesley and Iris van Herpen: New Bodies, New Worlds | Thursday, October 27
Since 2012, the Atelier van Herpen studio in Amsterdam and Beesley's Living Architecture Systems Group have been co-creating innovative couture that has been worn by celebrities, circulated in multiple exhibitions and hailed by global critics. From 5:10 to 6:30 p.m. at the Penny Stamps Lecture Series, you'll get a chance to see a unique view of van Herpen and Beesley's collaborative work.

Halloween at the Village | Friday, October 28
Come to the Village of Rochester Hills for a night of family fun. You can help raise money for the community, trick-or-treat, grab dinner and, of course, have some fun. The cost is $5 per child or 5 non-perishable food items per child.

Tous Les Senses | Saturday, October 29
From 8 to 10 p.m. Orleans + Winder is hosting their fall fashion show. You will get an experience for the eyes, nose, mouth and ears. Light bites and drinks will be served, and formal attire is required.

11th Annual Spooktacular Downtown Auburn Hills | Saturday, October 29
From noon to 1:30 p.m., the merchants of Downtown Auburn Hills will be handing out candy and other goodies. This is a fun event for the family and make sure to dress your kids in costumes! There will also be Halloween magic shows at 12:45 and 1:30 p.m. in the University Center. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Fall Family Festival | Saturday, October 29
Celebrate fall on the grounds at the Cranbrook Institute of Science for food, hands-on activities, science experiments, the chance to hang out with a superhero and princess, trunk or treat, shopping and lots of family fun! There will also be free admission to the museum afterwards. Tickets are available here.

Culture Lab Design: A Surprise Pop-Up Shop at Nora | Friday, October 30

Culture Lab Detroit hosts conversations and collaborations between Detroit and the international design community. It has just launched Culture Lab Designs, which is an exclusive line of products that were all created with the theme of “green space.” Celebrity event designer, David Stark, has conceptualized and created the pop-up shop that will feature and sell these home designs produced by internationally renowned designers in collaboration with Detroit artists, companies, and organizations. Get to Nora when doors open at 11 a.m. to get your limited edition creation from some of Detroit’s most talented artisans.

Motor City Funk Night: Devils Night 2015 | Friday, October 30

Instead of smashing pumpkins or hoping yours don’t get smashed, spend the night before Halloween listening to heavy funk and soul music, dancing until you know you’ll be sore in the morning, and sipping on the most ghoulish of drinks. Featuring strictly vinyl music to the sound of artists like DJs Head, Dez/Andres, Frank Raines & Eastside as well as a live performance by Guilty Simpson. Trick or Treat? It’s a treat that entry is only $5.

Haute to Death: 8 Year Anniversary | Saturday, October 31

Haute to Death is one of the hottest Detroit-based dance parties we have ever seen. Celebrate its 8-year anniversary on one of the most festive nights of the year, Halloween. Get the finishing touches to your costume and hurry down to Detroit’s historic Temple Bar for heavy-handed cocktails, dancing, music, and decadence to celebrate another 8 years (costumes not required, but heavily encouraged). Featuring Post Punk, New Wave, Italo, Electro, and Diva House, show up, look good, and dance with Detroit. Cover is only $2 before midnight and only $3 after, 21 and up welcome.

Haunted Detroit Bike Tour | Saturday, October 31

Don’t be a zombie this Halloween and come celebrate with the Wheelhouse. Instead of devouring candy this year, celebrate Halloween with Wheelhouse Detroit on a 10 to 12 mile bike tour visiting spots, which are rumored to be haunted, throughout Detroit. The bike tour will start at 5:30 p.m. and stop at Fort-Shelby, Leland Hotels, the Majestic Theatre, Elmwood Cemetery and the Masonic Temple to learn about the events that transpired in these buildings and maybe even sense some haunting shivers while listening to the haunted past of Detroit. Tickets can be purchased on the Wheelhouse website for $25 if you supply your bike or $35 if you need to rent one. This tour will sell out before Halloween, so make sure to purchase your tickets as soon as possible.

A Nightmare on Trumbull 2 | Saturday, October 31

Spend this Halloween in your best costume, jamming out to some awesome local talent like Staring Nots, Unholy Two, Paint Thinner, Casual Sweetheart, and Rebel Kind DJ’s. Bring out the cauldron and witch’s hat to celebrate Halloween with some awesome music. This event is for 21 and over with a $10 cover at the UFO Factory, doors open at 9 p.m.

All Things Detroit | Sunday, November 1

Recover from a late night of celebrating Halloween and take off the costumes to support Detroit’s small business community this weekend. The Bird & The Bread host its first Halloween event, Beer, Fire & Brimstone Halloween Party. Enjoy the flavors of fall with a beer tasting event of 30 to 40 fall beers, including pumpkin beers, Oktoberfest varieties and autumn and winter ales paired with fiery dishes. Have a good time partaking in Halloween-inspired games that will include Cornhole, Beer Trivia, a Test-Your-Nose Blind Beer aroma station, Bobbing for Beers challenge, a Tarot Card Reader and more. Gather for the condemned man’s last celebration with over 1,000 lost souls at the inaugural Monster’s Ball at The Fillmore Detroit. Featuring metro Detroit’s hottest DJs and entertainment, guests will be treated to a night of chills and thrills and a midnight pizza buffet. The Michigan Depression Glass Society Show and Sale | Saturday, November 1 and Sunday, November 2

Bring back memories and let others experience a Detroit tradition they have only hear about with a nostalgic 1940s walk down Woodward Avenue. The MDGS will host their 41st show and sale where they recreate window displays of popular Detroit shops including JL Hudson’s department store, Sander’s confections, Vernor’s soda fountain and Woolworth’s five-and-dime and more. Each vignette will feature glassware of this earlier time. Admission is a $5 donation good for both days and parking is free.

Meet Char! | Monday, November 3

Haberman Fabrics is hosting a meet and greet with Char Glover, Detroit-native and Project Runway designer. Admission is $10 and 100% of the proceeds paid at the door will go to support Detroit nonprofit, Alternatives for Girls.
