25th Annual Halloween Trail | Thursday, October 27
Kids 12 and under are invited to trick-or-treat from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Auburn Hills Civic Center Park. You can visit the talking pumpkin and enjoy a special magic show. The best part is that it's free for all kids dressed in costume!

Philip Beesley and Iris van Herpen: New Bodies, New Worlds | Thursday, October 27
Since 2012, the Atelier van Herpen studio in Amsterdam and Beesley's Living Architecture Systems Group have been co-creating innovative couture that has been worn by celebrities, circulated in multiple exhibitions and hailed by global critics. From 5:10 to 6:30 p.m. at the Penny Stamps Lecture Series, you'll get a chance to see a unique view of van Herpen and Beesley's collaborative work.

Halloween at the Village | Friday, October 28
Come to the Village of Rochester Hills for a night of family fun. You can help raise money for the community, trick-or-treat, grab dinner and, of course, have some fun. The cost is $5 per child or 5 non-perishable food items per child.

From 8 to 10 p.m. Orleans + Winder is hosting their fall fashion show. You will get an experience for the eyes, nose, mouth and ears. Light bites and drinks will be served, and formal attire is required.

11th Annual Spooktacular Downtown Auburn Hills | Saturday, October 29
From noon to 1:30 p.m., the merchants of Downtown Auburn Hills will be handing out candy and other goodies. This is a fun event for the family and make sure to dress your kids in costumes! There will also be Halloween magic shows at 12:45 and 1:30 p.m. in the University Center. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Fall Family Festival | Saturday, October 29
Celebrate fall on the grounds at the Cranbrook Institute of Science for food, hands-on activities, science experiments, the chance to hang out with a superhero and princess, trunk or treat, shopping and lots of family fun! Come out to The Fillmore for Hour Detroit's Best Dressed fashion show, presented by The Somerset Collection and hosted by Amy Andrews of FOX 2. Library at Night Tour | Thursday, September 29
Experience the Detroit Public Library's magnificent architecture and art underneath the stars at this awesome experience. This tour is a perfect date night, fun time with friends or just a wonderful visit to Detroit. You'll learn the hidden secrets, backstories and hidden nooks of the acclaimed main library. Director's Cut Talk: Alger Theater | Thursday, September 29
Get to know DIA Director Salvador Salort-Pons as he talks about his background, a brief history of the museum and what his plans are for the historic Alger Theater, where the talk will be taking place. You will have an opportunity to ask questions after the talk, and a reception will follow. The talk starts at 6 p.m. This event is free to the public.

Oktoberfest in the Park | Saturday, October 1 through Sunday, October 2

Fall Flavor Weekends in Greenfield Village | Saturday, October 1 through Sunday, October 2
Celebrate and explore more than three centuries of America's food centuries during this fun-filled weekend at Greenfield Village. You'll be able to experience an abundance of harvest season flavors at the Saturday Local Roots Farmers Market (this is only from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.), cooking demonstrations inside the historic homes and free samples of products. This is free for members, but non-members can purchase tickets here.

Hard Cider & Donuts | Sunday, October 2
Enjoy another round of hard cider and donuts at Michigan by the Bottle Tasting Room, but this time at the Royal Oak location! Donuts and cider will be available for purchase together or individually. Cider flavors include Verterra Winery Just Apple, Cherry Blush, Raspberry Rush, Blackberry Bliss, Sweet Peach Chaos Hard Ciders and the current on-tap Chateau de Leelanau cider.

FGI Detroit Fall 2016 Fashion Trend Event | Thursday, June 30

Corktown STRUT -- Music, Art and Food Festival | Friday, July 1 - Sunday, July 3
Corktown STRUT is Detroit's annual 3-day music, art and food festival over Fourth of July weekend. A long line-up of music and food/drink sponsors will make this event one for the books. The event starts at 7 p.m. on Friday and goes through Sunday until 11 p.m. There will be a shuttle available, so parking won't be an issue. Michigan RIB FEST 2016 with Fireworks Show | Friday, July 1 - Monday, July 4
Head down to the M1 Concourse for ribs and family friendly fun. Fireworks will be taking place Friday at 10 p.m. There will be live music on multiple stages, professional drivers doing laps in Dodge Vipers, craft beers, ciders, wine, cocktails, a rib cookoff, monster truck rides, pig races and so much more.
