This weekend is chock-full of fun and fashionable things to do, so if you’re itching to hit the town, these events will keep you busy!

SHE: Shop The Veronica Beard Spring & Fall Collections | Wednesday, April 22 through Friday, April 24
Support Humble Design and shop the extended spring and fall 2015 Veronica Beard collections from Wednesday to Friday at SHE Boutique. Veronica Beard is an elevated sportswear brand that strikes the balance between classic and cool, and offers a modern perspective on iconic staples. Humble Design is a local non-profit organization that furnishes homes for families emerging from homeless and abuse shelters. See, now you have to do some shopping this weekend – it’s for a good cause!

Nina McLemore Meet and Greet | Thursday, April 23
Meet Nina McLemore and support two great charities, CARE House and Variety. Nina will be on hand from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. for advice while you shop, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the charity of your choice when items are purchased. The day will be concluded with a cocktail reception from 5 to 8 p.m., but an RSVP is a must, so call 248.430.4365 to reserve your spot.

Jackets for Jobs 15th Anniversary Celebration | Thursday, April 23
Tracy Reese is back in Detroit, and is the keynote speaker for the Jackets for Jobs 15th Anniversary Celebration, 10 a.m. at the Charles H. Wright Museum. Jackets for Jobs provides career skills training, employment etiquette and professional clothing to job seekers, and has helped over 15,000 clients achieve their job seeking goals since opening its doors in 2000. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased on Eventbrite. The first 100 attendees will receive a free TJ Maxx gift card.

afterHOUR | Thursday, April 23
Hour Detroit invites you to mix and mingle with the staff and other fashion, home décor and foodie locals at Tom’s Oyster Bar from 5 to 7 p.m. Enjoy beer and wine specials, and $1 oysters and peel-and-eat shrimp.

Pop Up Shop | Friday, April 24 and Saturday, April 25
Orleans + Winder presents its new spring collections at Bikram Yoga Midtown Detroit from 12 to 7 p.m. See new pieces, and learn about the Bikram Yoga studio while you’re there.

Lust Launch Party | Friday, April 24
Wanderlust Boutique is launching its new men’s wear line, Lust, from 6 to 8 p.m. Trey Simon Music will perform while you shop, and a few other surprises will happen while you’re there.

Red Bull House of Art Cycle 10 Cycle | Friday, April 24
Celebrate Red Bull House of Art’s 3rd Anniversary, and see the unveiling of its 10th art cycle with Detroit artist from 7 to 11 p.m. Artists James “Jimbo” Braddock, Brent Forrest, Niki Urban, SHEEFY, K. Guillory, Elmer, and Parisa Ghaderi will be featured that evening. Eddie Logix and Ancient Language will provide music for the evening. The event is free and open to the public; all ages are welcome.

Belle Isle Park Spring Clean-Up| Saturday, April 25
Start your Saturday morning with a purpose! Head over to Belle Isle for its annual spring clean up. Meet at the Flynn Pavilion for registration and site assignments at 8:30 a.m., and help out on the beautiful Belle Isle until 1 p.m. Hot dogs, chips and pop will be served from 12 to 1 p.m. for volunteers. Light the Future: A Silent Auction | Sunday, April 26
Join Indian Village Historic Collections from 4 to 7 p.m. at Craft Work for a silent auction that will aid in the restoration of neighborhood’s historic streetlights. Shinola, Craft Work, Parker Street Market, Canine to Five, private artist, and are just a few of the companies that donated items for the silent auction. Tickets are $125 for non HIVA members and $100 for HIVA members, and include a three course plated meal and two beverages of your choice.
