Experience Detroit Bar Tours: Happy Hour Edition | Thursday,
April 9
Maximize your happy
hour with The Detroit Experience Factory. DXF is hosting a bar tour event from
5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at starting at Firebird Tavern. Enjoy interesting facts about Detroit
while bar hopping from Firebird, to Checker Bar and finally ending at Grand
Trunk Pub . Tickets are $15 and can be purchased on Eventbrite. Participants must
be 21 or older to attend.

Drinks x Design | Thursday, April 9
We are thrilled to
partner with CCS for April’s Drinks x Design. This month’s event will focus on
fashion accessories design, with CCS presenting about its new Fashion
Accessories Design program and live demonstrations from three local designers. Drinks
x Design is from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m., held in the General Motors Auditorium
inside of the A. Alfred Taubman Center. Although the event is free, attendees must register on Eventbrite.

Spring Happy Hour | Friday, April 10
Sip, savor and shop
with Dolce Moda at Spring Happy Hour from 5 to 9 p.m. Swing by and shop the
men’s and women’s stock for spring and summer while enjoying music provided by
DJ ATP & DJ Kasanova . Chef Michael M will be on hand to dish out Creole,
West Indian, Italian and Sothern bites.

Swing Into Spring | Friday, April 10
Enjoy delicious
cocktails and browse the new inventory, including Jenna Kator’s spring/summer
collection, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Grace Boutique of Old Town. Product specials and
discounts will be available all night, and neighbor Curvaceous Lingerie will
be hosting their spring party, so you’ll have plenty to do.

Runway Lansing: Fashion For the Fire | Saturday, April 11
The Runway Lansing, in
collaboration with The Firecracker Foundation, is hosting an avant-garde
fundraising fashion show. The fashion designs shown on the runway are inspired
by the first-hand accounts of sexual assault survivors. The show is inspired by
the stories of sexual assault. Students Katie M. Raynard and Anami Chan from
MSU’s Apparel and Textile Design will be the presenting designers. Tickets are
$50 for VIP, and $25 for general admission and available on Eventbrite. More
