Drinks x Design: Graphic Design | Thursday, February 12
The Start Gallery connects new artists with resources and prime space to exhibit and they will be hosting February’s Drinks x Design for a Drink & Draw! AIGA Detroit will provide markers, colored pencils, crayons and more and all you need to do is bring your creativity. This event is for all skill levels 21 and up, so if you need a little inspiration for the evening, a list of fun and interesting primers will be available to inspire you. Space is limited to 200 attendees, so you’ll want to arrive early to ensure entry.
Build Institute Open House + Happy Hour | Thursday, February 12

Detroit SOUP Five Year Anniversary Fundraiser | Sunday, February 15
Detroit SOUP is having a party to celebrate five years of community dinners funding growth and everyone is invited ! The anniversary fundraiser is happing at Ford Field from 5 to 11 p.m. and it will feature performances by Obsidian Blues, DANCE Inc., Shakespeare in Detroit and more. Once the main event is over, stick around because an after party will ensue with music from Flint Eastwood and Pistons DJ Thornstryker. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $40.
