Chaser Brand & Frame Denim Trunk Show! | Thursday, March 12 – Saturday, March 14

Guys N Gals is hosting a three-day trunk show for Chaser Brand & Frame Denim. Brand new merchandise will be brought in just for this event, and the trunk show is only happening this weekend, so you’ll want to make some time to stop in.

LAUNCHED: Detroit Research | Thursday, March 12

Celebrate the inaugural issue of Detroit Research at 7 p.m. at MOCAD. This new journal of practice and artist research for Detroit explores social practice, ceramics, choreography, music performance and critical theory. The journal will appear in the Spring and Fall of each year, and every issue will contain a reflection upon a historically important Detroit journal. Hard copies will be available for purchase, and the journal can be found online at www.detroitresearch.org.

Detroit Experience Factory Grand Opening | Friday, March 13

The grand opening of Detroit Experience Factory is happening this Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and everyone is invited! The new Welcome Center is located right between Campus Martius Park and Greektown. Stop by for program information and a day full of food including breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and happy hour. Each meal is sponsored by different local restaurants, including Great Lakes Coffee, Café Kabob/CK Mediterranean Grille and Catering, City Market Detroit, Firebird Tavern and more. Last but not least, enjoy a Pre St. Paddy’s Day Edition bar tour sponsored by the Downtown Detroit Partnership.

Carson’s New & Now | Saturday, March 14

You’re invited to the 2015 spring fashion event at Carson’s, emceed by DG3’s president Karen Buscemi. View Carson’s premier spring fashion show and beauty event bright and early at 8:30 a.m., with a 7:30 a.m. guest check-in. Once the show is over, attendees are able to shop the looks, as each runway look is set up throughout the store so if you see something you like, you can find it easily and walk out with something fresh off the runway.
