ATD Fashion Show | Friday, March 6

See the fashion student’s of MSU showcase their collections at the annual Apparel and Textile Design Fashion show starting at 7 p.m. at the Pasant Theatre at Wharton Center in East Lansing. This show is a culmination of sustainable, classic and avant-garde fashion. The show is open to the public, but space is limited, so click here to purchase tickets.

First Friday Event | Friday, March 6

The First Friday Event, hosted by Ambassador Magazine, is happening from 6 to 9 p.m. at Blackfinn Ameripub. This event is a great opportunity for the magazine to highlight fun venues throughout metro Detroit, and for members of the magazine to hang out with the readers. The first 10 ladies to arrive to the party will receive a free Arid Blow Dry Beauty Bar gift card good for two blowouts.

2015 DAM Annual Scholarship Awards and Exhibition ft. CCS | Friday, March 6 through Saturday, April 11

The Detroit Artists Market proudly presents a program that includes the presentation of the scholarship awards to outstanding CCS students at the 2015 DAM Annual Scholarship Awards and Exhibition. The exhibit will present works by the ten scholarship finalists and many distinguished alumni and faculty members and is open from Friday, March 6 with a members’ preview from 6 to 7 p.m., and a public reception from 1 to 10 p.m.

Bollywood Bash 80's Flashback | Friday, March 6
Enjoy a Bollywood fusion dance night from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. At the Novi Christian Community Center. It's a night that will provide fun and dancing for the whole family. Tickets are $15 at the door, and kids 10 years old and under will get in for $10.

BUILD Next Workshop: Let’s Get Social – Social Media For Your Business | Saturday, March 7

Fromm 1 to 4 p.m., Build Institute is partnering with Canfield Creative to provide attendees with the knowledge and tools to effectively use social media to grow your business. Canfield Creative teaches how to get a better understanding of the nuances that make up each individual social platform, they will learn how to engage communities on different social media platforms and develop a daily social marketing plan necessary for growth. One Night Stand 2015: Opening Reception | Saturday, March 7

Re:View’s director Simone DeSousa has curated a special one-night exhibit of CCS Fine Art students for the past three years and it’s back! The night takes place from 6 to 9 p.m. at Re:View Contemporary Gallery, and you will have the chance to view some of the exciting talent emerging locally.
