This weekend is chock-full of fun and fashionable things to do, so if you’re itching to hit the town, these events will keep you busy!

Build Next: Biz Plan Boot Camp with Tom Nardone | Thursday, June 4
Business plans are the first thing needed to start a business, and they are always the last thing anyone wants to do. Well, if you’re looking for a little motivation and help with your business plan, Build Institute is hosting a one-night-only Biz Plan Boot Camp class taught by entrepreneur and best-selling author Tom Nardone. Attendees will learn about the eight sections of a good business plan, how to finish one quickly and how to spot and what to do with trouble areas. Once the class is over, you’ll know the basics of a great business plan and how to analyze your plan for next steps. Tickets for the class can be purchased on Eventbrite for $40 for Build Grads, and $55 for Non-Build Grads. Attendees are welcome to BYOB.

4th Annual Light Up the Riverfront! | Thursday, June 4
Enjoy a barbeque and a bonfire and take in the beauty of the Detroit River from 6 to 10 p.m. for the 4th Annual Light Up the Riverfront. Head to Milliken State Park & Harbor for live entertainment will be the background to an amazing night of fun on the Detroit Riverfront. Tickets are $25, and attendees should BYOB. The Detroit Riverfront Security will be on site for safety, and to secure the free vehicle and bicycle parking across the street from the venue. BravoBravo! 2015 | Friday, June 5
Join BravoBravo for its 16th year of showcasing the beauty that Detroit has to offer. Sponsored by FIAT, this an annual fundraiser is held from 8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. with a 7 p.m. VIP preview, at the Detroit Opera House. The 42nd Historic Indian Village Home & Garden Tour | Saturday, June 6
Admire the beauty of one of Detroit’s historic neighborhoods as the Historic Indian Village celebrates their 120th Anniversary from 12 to 5 p.m. There will be a tour of nine beautiful homes, one garden, and a carriage house. One313 Workshop: African Bead Necklaces | Saturday, June 6
Come out for a little fun and learn how to make African Bead Necklaces from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Number House in The Heidelberg Project. This is the first Saturday of the One 313 Workshop Series that will happen on the first and third Saturdays in June, July and August, and it will focus exclusively on African Bead Necklaces led by Educational Coordinator, Margaret. This event is free and open to the public, brought to you by the Michigan Council of Arts and Cultural Affairs.

Eastern Market Sunday Build Bazaar | Sunday, June 7
Build Institute is kicking off, for the second year in a row, Eastern Market’s Sunday Steet Market from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Come out to the Eastern Market, Shed 5 to shop over 40 local vendors, including organic soap, Detroit-themed decals, coffee, baked goods and more.
