Metro Detroit Weddings Luxury Bridal Show | Thursday, February 23
Metro Detroit Weddings is hosting a luxury bridal show at The Westin Book Cadillac from 5 to 9 p.m. There will be a variety of guest speakers giving tips about various things such as hair and makeup, bridal gown styles and trends, pre-wedding cleanse and fitness tips, planning for the perfect wedding photo, destination wedding planning. Rebcca Voigt, editor of Metro Detroit Weddings, will also be there to welcome everyone! Bring your bridesmaids and sip champagne. Mardi Gras Masquerade | Saturday, February 25
Join The Scarab Club as they celebrate Mardi Gras with NOLA-style music from the Aston Neighborhood Social Club and cirque performers. This will all be happening from 8 p.m. to midnight. Attire can be costume, masks or formal wear. There will be an open bar and a creole menu. Tickets are $45 in advance and $55 at the door. You can buy them here.

Detroit Electronic Quarterly Music Magazine Roll Out Party | Saturday, February 25
Do you love electronic music? Then come out to the Inner State Gallery from 7 to 10 p.m. to celebrate the release of the newest issue of Detroit Electronic Quarterly Music Magazine. There will be a live performance by Dave Graw, as well as light food and beverages. There will be magazines and merch for sale.

Breathe & Brunch | Saturday, February 25
Citizen Yoga is hosting a yoga and brunch event at 11:30 a.m. at the Atwater Biergarten & Tap House. After a relaxing yoga session, enjoy a free beer! There will also be brunch items available for purchase and a Lululemon yoga mat giveaway.

Mac N' Brews 2017 | Saturday, February 25
From 7:30 to 11 p.m., come out to the Royal Oak Farmers Market for a selection of 25+ mac and cheeses from local restaurants and 80+ craft brews. This is definitely the place to get some great comfort food and have a couple cold ones.

Join industry experts for the Detroit Regional Chamber's digital marketing boot camp at the Taubman Center to help you improve your digital marketing footprint. There will be various speakers from well-known companies who will be talking about various digital marketing topics including the latest innovations in social media, how to make your online presence more personable and tips to improve your digital marketing strategy. College Night at the DIA | Friday, February 17
Tri-county college students are invited to visit the Detroit Institute of Arts for a free evening of music, games, dancing and more. Activities include free admission to the Bittersweet: Coffee, Tea & Chocolate exhibition, live music in the Rivera Court at 7 and 8:30 p.m., a scavenger hunt with prizes, a dance party, snacks and a cash bar for those 21+.

Bella Gemelli Spring Break Pop-Up Shop | Saturday, February 18

Brewery Walking Tour - Royal Oak | Saturday, February 18
Motor City Brew Tours presents a walking tour of some of Royal Oak's best breweries! The tour will start at Royal Oak Brewery and include River Rouge Brewing Company, Bastone Brewery and Lily's Seafood Grill & Brewery. Tickets are $42.50 and available here or at the event. This tour is 21+ and will start 11:30 a.m.

Whiskey Business 2017 | Saturday, February 18
Come out to the Royal Oak Farmers Market to taste over 100 whiskeys from around the world. There will also be live music provided by SpaceCat cover band. There will also be brand ambassadors there, who can offer their unique descriptions and insights on the many products available. Go Red Premiere Party | Wednesday, February 8
Join FOX 2's Maurielle Lue and Go Red for women in heart disease at William Beaumont Hospital for a free event presented by the American Heart Association. From 6 to 8 p.m. there will be sales of red accessories, fitness demonstrations, makeup tips and tricks from Macy's, health screenings, the Detroit Heart Walk and a casting call for the AHA National Go Red for Women Spokeswomen. Porter Release Party by Gayle's Chocolates and Lily's Seafood | Friday, February 10

Snow Me the Love 2017 | Saturday, February 11
Come out to Downtown Romeo from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for a day of family fun! There will be a "Golden Ticket" Candy Bar drawing, which will raise money to help send packages overseas to our military with a grand prize of $500, various raffles, a playing of a special movie for kids at River of God Church, face painters and balloon twisters, a bake sale, free horse and carriage rides, a fortune teller, a marshmallow snowman building project for kids, and guided tours of the Clock Tower at the First Methodist Church and the Bancroft-Stranaham Museum.


Galentine's Day at Green Daffodill | Saturday, February 11
All ladies, come out from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. to celebrate girl power, love and friendship at Green Daffodill. There will be guest artists, snacks and vintage cocktails. There will also be a limited edition candle made for the day! Bring all the girl friends you have!

Detroit Hustle Author Visits Ferndale Library | Thursday, February 2
Author/reporter Amy Haimerl moved to Detroit with her husband after being priced-out of their Brooklyn neighborhood. They bought an abandoned house in need of refurbishment on Van Dyke Place in the West Village. Her newly released memoir, "Detroit Hustle," chronicles her and her husband's DIY efforts to turn the dilapidated home into a truly dynamic home for themselves. At the Ferndale Library from 6:30 to 8 p.m., you can join Amy as she discusses the book and the amazing comeback Detroit has made. She will also be signing copies of the book.

Detroit Legacy Ball | Friday, February 3
In honor of Black History Month, Detroit will host its annual Detroit Legacy Ball at The Roostertail. From 7 to 9:30 p.m., help celebrate local scholarship recipients and community awardees. The first Legacy Ball was held in Grand Rapids nine years ago and has since expanded to Kalamazoo and Detroit. Throughout these three communities more than $70,000 have been awarded in student scholarships and to local non-profits.

Alchemy Detroit Trunk Show | Saturday, February 4 and Sunday, February 5

Mixology Fundamentals | Saturday, February 4
The Sugar House will be offering a two hour mixology class, which is a condensed version of what the bartenders have to take before they work there. You will discuss liquors, liqueurs, ingredients and tools to make mixed drinks. You'll then get the chance to make three drinks, which will cover a wide variety of techniques like shaking, stirring and straining. You must be 21 years old to take this class, and you can purchase tickets here.

Uptown Toast | Saturday, February 4
From 4 to 8 p,m., stop by the Livernois "Pop Up" Shop and treat yourself Uptown Toast's monthly wine social. You'll be able to do business with their great, artisan vendors and sample wines from around the world. With a $10 donation, you'll get a wristband so you can come and go as you please. This gives you a chance to explore the rest of Livernois Avenue!
