This weekend is chock-full of fun and fashionable things to do, so if you’re itching to hit the town, these events will keep you busy!

afterHour :: Hyde Park | Thursday, August 20
From 4:30 to 6:30 mix and mingle with Hour Detroit's A-List at Hyde Park in Birmingham. Small plate appetizers start at $5, and drink specials include beer for $3, cocktails for $5 and wine for $6. No need to RSVP - just stop by, grab a drink and enjoy the evening.

The Art of Detroit | Friday, August 21
Celebrate the city and the surrounding suburbs with the 2nd Annual Art of Detroit from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, August 21 at Saks Fifth Avenue. Guests are encouraged to “travel the M-1 Rail” through the store to enjoy food from local restaurants, sip on custom cocktails and view original artwork by students and graduates of College for Creative Studies. Café ML, 220, Townhouse, Imerman Cake Company, Rock City Eatery, Atwater Brewery, London Chop House and more local favorites will provide food stations and custom cocktails. Jared Sykes and CCS graduate Ben Sharkey and will provide entertainment and music for the evening, while attendees can browse exclusive designer trunk shows featuring fine and fashion jewelry, clothing and accessories. Tickets for the event are $75, and include chances to win a number of luxury giveaways, luxury gift baskets, fashion accessories and other items. 2nd Annual Tomato Festival | Saturday, August 22
If you're looking to spend time doing something fun with your family this weekend, head to the 2nd Annual Tomato Festival from 1 to 5 p.m. at Detroit Farm and Garden. Guests will enjoy horse-drawn hayrides, a tomato toss, a temporary tattoo booth and live music by "A Hot Mess." Local vendors will be on hand to purchase goodies, and attendees will get a chance to taste different local treats like samples of locally grown tomatoes, Slow's Bacon, Avalon Farm Bread and more. Also, if you have a mean tomato dish you know could win a prize, take part in the Tomato Cook-Off! Contestants should arrive with their dishes by 3 p.m., and bring enough for several judges to taste test. The winner of the cook-off will receive a Detroit Farm and Garden gift card, and the coveted "Golden Tomato." To submit and entry, call 313.655.2344 - this is not required, but recommended.

Pop Up @ Inner State Gallery | Saturday, August 22
Visit the Orleans + Winder monthly trunk show from 7 to 10 p.m. at Inner State Gallery. Late summer pieces for great prices are available, so stop by and get a great outfit for the last part of the summer.

Bikes and Yoga: Sunday Funday | Sunday, August 23
Detroit Community Yoga and Bikes and Yoga are hosting a special Sunday edition of Bikes and Yoga from 1 to 2 p.m. on Belle Isle. Enjoy free yoga with Jeffrey Friedland and Tim Clark at Sunset Point, no official bike ride will happen at this time. After yoga, you can go on your merry way or stick around and enjoy the island - a few people are planning on heading to the beach and spending their afternoon in swim suits.
