Wear It's At: Prints & Patterns 101

School is officially in session as we put away our sundresses, wedges, and tank tops, we are slowly preparing for fall boots, sweaters, jeans, and scarves - but this September should be all about fun fall dressing. Mixing bold patterns and prints is a foolproof way to stand out, express your creativity, and have fun with what you wear. Here are some ideas of how you can mix some of the prints in your closet. Some basic tips of the trade, as far as matching and mixing patterns, are to keep the patterns of the same color family, include neutrals to break up the print, pick a bigger scaled print to match a smaller print, and space the patterns out by wearing a solid skirt or top under a jacket.
